CHESTER,WV – A planned strike at 12:01 a.m, March 29 by Local 23 UFCW Union at Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack & Resort will not impact business at the property in anyway. Only nine percent of the total number of employees at Mountaineer are members of Local 23 and include VLT cashiers, slot technicians and count room employees.

“All aspects of Mountaineer will remain open and operational,” said Ted Arneault, Mountaineer president and CEO. “We are prepared to provide the optimum service to our customers now and in the future.”
