CHESTER,WV – Ray Morrow has joined the management team at MTR Gaming Group, Inc. as Director of Corporate Security. The former Agent in Charge of the Pittsburgh Field Division Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Morrow concluded a 21-year career with the FBI when he joined MTR in December. As Special Agent in Charge of the Pittsburgh Field Office, Morrow had responsibility for 140 employees and the FBI operations in western Pennsylvania and all of West Virginia.
A native of Ellwood City, PA, Morrow graduated from Penn State and began service with the FBI’s identification division in 1977. He left the FBI to work the Secret Service, including a detail at the White House under President Jimmy Carter then worked with a private security firm beginning in 1980. Morrow returned to the FBI in 1987 as a special agent, starting in Louisville, Kentucky and then moving to Cleveland, where he worked undercover for two years to expose corruption within the Cleveland police department. Morrow's FBI assignments also took him to Atlanta, Washington, DC. and Minneapolis. He was promoted to Section Chief of the Resource Management Section of the Criminal Justice Information Services Division in Clarksburg and in 2005 became special agent in charge of the FBI’s Administrative Division in the New York Office.
In his new capacity at MTR, Morrow will work with Corporate Compliance, Human Resource, Surveillance and Security Departments at MTR.
