CHESTER, WV – OA WBA Regional Heavyweight Title and a USBA Lightweight Title take center stage on December 30 at 2 p.m. in THE HARV at Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack & Resort.
Heavyweight contender Brian “The Beast” Minto (28-2, 17 KOs) of Butler, PA will make his return to the ring. Minto will be headlining the card in a 10-round main event against Byron Polley (27-7-1, 10 KOs) of St. Joseph, Missouri for the vacant WBA Federcentro Heavyweight Title.
A battle for a vacant USBA lightweight title will feature local USBA ranked lightweight, Verquan “The Show” Kimbrough (18-1-1, 7 KOs) of Aliquippa, PA against USBA #14-ranked lightweight Oisin “Gaelic Force” Fagan (20-4, 12 KOs) in a 12-round bout. Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Fagan now resides in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma..
The under card consists of five bouts:
Jim Emrick (2-1, 2 KOs) of Butler, PA will face Corey Gregory (5-14, 3 KOs) of Cleveland, Ohio in a 4-round heavyweight bout. Chad Van Sickle (21-7-3, 12 KOs) of Columbus, Ohio will be pitted against Carlton Johnson (15-4-2, 10 KOs) of Pittsburgh, PA.
A four-round welterweight bout will feature Steve Perry (0-1) of Youngstown, Ohio vs Khristian Geraci (0-2) of Pittsburgh PA while John Lipscomb (3-12) of Cleveland will face Eric Burke (14-6-1, 4 KOs) of Columbus, Ohio in a 4-round welterweight bout. Chris Stallworth (18-1, 3 KOs) of Pittsburgh, PA will battle Dan Whetsel (9-12-1, 5 KOs) of Toledo, Ohio in a 6-round heavyweight bout.
Fight fans will have the opportunity to meet WBC and WBO Middleweight Champion Kelly “Ghost” Pavlik of Youngstown, Ohio who will conduct an autograph session beginning at noon in THE HARV and continuing until 2 p.m.
