CHESTER, WV – The West Virginia Lottery Commission has authorized Mountaineer Casino, Resort and Race Track to conduct two nights of testing in preparation for the soon-to-be announced official opening of table games. The testing will debut the four newly renovated table game areas in the Hotel Speakeasy Casino and will feature Craps, Blackjack, Roulette, 3-Card Poker and other games authorized by the June 30th Racetrack Table Gaming referendum in Hancock County.

Proceeds from the Charity Nights, which are slated for December 17 and 18 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., will benefit the Weirton Area United Way which recently announced a deficit for its annual fund drive.

Subject to regulatory approval, Mountaineer expects to open the new Table Game rooms shortly thereafter.
