CHESTER, WV - Patrons utilizing Route 2 through New Cumberland to travel to Mountaineer Casino Racetrack and Resort should be aware that the Division of Highways will be detouring traffic to do road repairs to Station Hill beginning Monday, April 17 and continuing for two weeks. Automobile traffic only will be detoured through South Chester Street in New Cumberland. During this time, no trucks, busses or other large vehicles will be permitted through the detour. All large vehicles should use Ohio Route 7 should they need to travel between the Weirton area and Mountaineer.
