CHESTER, WV - Grammy winner Glen Campbell will appear at Mountaineer Casino Racetrack and Resort
on November 19.

A crossover artist with forty years in show business, Campbell made history by winning a Grammy in both country and pop categories in 1967 when “Gentle On My Mind,” snatched the country honors, and “By the Time I Get To Phoenix” won in pop. With a string of other hits, “Wichita Lineman,” “Dreams of the Everyday Housewife,” and “Galveston,” to his credit, he was named Male Vocalist of the Year” by both CMA and the ACM and Entertainer of the Year by CMA.

The multi-talented Campbell starred in his own television series “The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour” for three years. In 1969, Campbell had a hit with “True Grit,” recorded for the soundtrack of the movie in which he starred with John Wayne as well. “Rhinestone Cowboy” was not only a #1 single on both pop and country for Campbell, but also the title of his autobiography.
