Chester, WV – Four West Virginia State Championships and one IBC America Title will be settled in the ring June 18 at THE HARV, Mountaineer Casino Racetrack and Resort’s theater and event center. All Championship contests will be scheduled for 10 rounds, with a co-featured bout with Verquan Kimbrough, in a six-round bout, with three other four-round bouts scheduled.

The Main Event will pit two long time rivals in a welterweight title match that has been anticipated for years. The waiting will end when Johnny “Macho Midget” Bailey (22-11-2, 12 KOs) of New Cumberland, WV will slug it out with Jacy Kuhn (12-1-1, 8 KOs) of Uniontown, PA. As young prospects, Bailey and Kuhn were scheduled to fight early in their careers, but the bouts failed to materialize for various reasons. This has left some bad blood between the combatants to be settled in the ring.

The IBC America’s Heavyweight Championship will be on the line when Pittsburgh’s Abraham Okine (11-0, 6 KOs) takes on Billy Douglas (10-1, 9 KOs) in a 10-round bout. Okine, who is originally from Ghana, has an 8-round bout stoppage of former World Champion Tony TNT Tubbs on his resume. The 260 lb. Douglas is the brother of Mike Tyson conqueror James “Buster” Douglas. Douglas was originally scheduled to battle West Virginia Champion Brian Minto for his title, but Minto has injuries that caused the cancellation.
