CHESTER, WV - A “Rock N Roll Revue” at Mountaineer Casino Racetrack and Resort will recreate the melodies and
moments when Rock N Roll was king. Slated for October 9 at
Mountaineer’s Grande Ballroom, the Revue features Gary
Racan and his 10 piece band in full 50’s costumes.
Racan, formerly the lead singer for a national singing group
that scored 10 gold records, has performed with almost every
major recording group from the 50’s and 60’s. Racan
has incorporated songs from those groups into the show switching
from a killer falsetto voice as he mimics the sounds of Little
Anthony, Smoky Robinson and Frankie Vallie to a rich tenor
as he sings Jay Black, Johnny Mistro and many more.
The show transports the audience back in time with a stage
decorated with props from that era and it engages the audiences
as the front line of singers interact with the audience.
Tickets for the show are $10 and can be obtained through any
Ticketmaster location or on site at Mountaineer at the Downtown
Speakeasy Roarin 20’s Players Department.
