MTR Gaming Group is a diversified gaming operator focused on middle-market properties. Current operations are in WV, PA, OH, MI and NV. MTR owns and operates Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack & Resort in Chester, WV, which currently encompasses approximately 3,220 slot machines, 55 table games, 40 poker tables, a year-round thoroughbred racetrack, an upscale hotel with amenities, golf course, fine dining and entertainment, a theater and events center, and a convention center. The Company operates Presque Isle Downs & Casino in Erie, PA, which currently encompasses 2,000 slot machines, a state-of-the-art thoroughbred racetrack, fine dining and live entertainment. Additionally, MTR owns and operates Scioto Downs, a harness horse racing facility in Columbus, OH, and operates the Ramada Inn and Speedway Casino in North Las Vegas, pursuant to a short-term lease pending regulatory approval of the transfer of the gaming assets. The Company also has a 90% interest in Jackson Trotting Association, which operates Jackson Harness Raceway in Jackson, MI, and owns a 50% interest in North Metro Harness Initiative, which is currently constructing a harness racetrack and card room 30 miles north of downtown Minneapolis.
