MTR GAMING GROUP SCHEDULES 2008 FIRST QUARTER NEWS RELEASE AND CONFERENCE CALL

(Nasdaq:MNTG) today announced that it will issue its financial results
for the first quarter ended March 31, 2008 on Monday, May 12, 2008
before the stock market opens.
Management will conduct a conference call focusing on the financial
results and recent corporate developments at 10:00 a.m. EDT on Monday,
