FINANCIAL RESULTS NEWS RELEASE AND CONFERENCE CALL

CHESTER, WV - March 12, 2007 - MTR Gaming Group, Inc. (NasdaqGS: MNTG) today announced that it will issue its financial results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended December 31, 2006 on Thursday, March 15, 2007 before the stock market opens. Management will conduct a conference call focusing on the financial results and recent corporate developments at 10:00 a.m. ET on Thursday, March 15, 2007.
